In times of uncertainty, division, or national need, one of the most powerful things believers can do is lift their country in a prayer for the nation with scriptures as our foundation.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our nation. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Lord, we repent for the times our land has turned away from Your ways. We ask for Your mercy, for Your forgiveness, and for Your healing over our people.
Unite us, O God. Where there is division, bring peace. Where there is injustice, bring righteousness. Where there is despair, bring hope. May Your truth reign in every heart, and may Your Spirit move mightily across our land.
Raise up leaders who fear You, who walk in integrity and wisdom. Let Your Word be a light in our homes, schools, workplaces, and government. Teach us to love one another and serve one another as You have loved us.
We declare that our nation belongs to You. Let revival begin with us—right here, right now. May we be a people known for justice, compassion, humility, and unwavering faith.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
