Saturday Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank You for this Saturday morning, a day to pause, reflect, and draw closer to You. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23, KJV) I am grateful for Your faithfulness and the new mercies You pour out each day.
Lord, as I begin this day, I ask for Your peace to fill my heart and mind. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” (Isaiah 26:3, KJV) Help me to fix my thoughts on You and trust in Your perfect plan for my life.
Father, I surrender this day to You, I ask for Your guidance. “Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto Thee.” (Psalm 143:8, KJV) Direct my steps and help me to walk in alignment with Your will.
Lord, I pray for rest and renewal today. You have designed us to rest, just as You rested on the seventh day. “And He said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat”. (Mark 6:31, KJV) Help me to find true rest in Your presence, free from anxiety and stress.
I lift up my family, friends, and loved ones to You. Bless them with Your peace, joy, and provision. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.” (Psalm 23:1-3, KJV) May Your love and grace surround them today.
Finally, Lord, I ask for Your strength and encouragement. Fill me with Your peace and confidence, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, KJV)
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and love. I commit this Saturday into Your hands. Let Your will be done in my life, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
